Where did you get this information from?

We obtain our information from freely available sources. We use the White pages, Yellow pages and search engines to source information and to cross check its validity before we place it on our website. The information collected in this way is vague, but the collating of this information into the one site makes this information very useful for a brides research. As we do not restrict our listing to paid listings we can say we offer the most comprehensive listing in WA. We only provide more specific information about a company when we have their authorization. Any company that no longer exists or wishes to be removed can do so by contacting admin@wedweb.com.au.

Why is my business listed on the 6th page?

Firstly, we don't make any judgements about the quality of a business. We only wish to provide a comprehensive listing so our brides can have unlimited options. We rotate the listings on a daily basis so that every quality free listing gets an equal time near the top of the listings. If you are concerned about your business being listed so far down, then there are ways to improve your position, and they don't all require you to pay money. If you look at the order our businesses are listed, you will see you can improve your position by providing full details of your business if we are missing any, linking back to us or paying for a listing. What order are businesses listed?

We aim to provided both value for money and flexibility to our advertisers and quality of information to our brides. So we have designed our system to allow you to set your cost per click (through to your website) at a any value you wish that gives you the ad position you want that fits your budget. We then sort our ads based on cost per click prices (+adjustments eg. +5c for linking back to WedWeb). When we have to decide between those ads of the same click value, we use the following sorting method to decide which ads to display first. This information is mainly for those businesses that opt for the free listing and linked only listing as they all have the same click value (0c or 5c). In cases where businesses have an equal weighting, we mix up their positions on a daily basis.

How do I improve my position?

As you can see from above, the best way to improve your position is to pay for advertising and to set your click value to give you the position you want. You only need pay $25 upfront and you automatically get a better quality ad. See our package info for more info. The next thing you can do is link to WedWeb from your website. If you already pay for advertising, you will recieve a +5c bonus to your click price that may improve your as position. If you aren't paying, we will give you preference over free ads and give you an image ad aswell. Again check our package info for linked only ads. If you really can't pay or link back, then the best you can do is make sure we have all your information and you provide a description.
